Freewing Avanti S V2 80mm EDF Jet

Photo of Andrew Ray's Freewing Avanti S V2 80mm EDF Jet performing a low pass over our runway at Ex Raf Peplow. His Avanti was in a standard configuration and was running on a 6-cell 4000 mAh LiPo battery. He also uses a FrSky SR10+ gyro receiver. According to Andrew, although the aircraft doesn't really require stabilization, it can be beneficial in turbulent conditions. With sensible throttle management, he achieves a flight time of about four minutes. The jet looks superb in flight.
